The Central Vaccination Center is located inside the Bang Sue Grand Station in Bangkok. Individuals can come to the center on their appointment date, while center staff and volunteers work to avoid crowds and make it easy for visitors.
Staff members from each mobile network provider made it easy for people arriving for their booster appointment at the Central Immunization Center. Those getting vaccinated were given a detailed explanation of the steps, from filling out the consent form to the injection process and the post-injection waiting period.
According to many visitors, registration is easy and the service is good. However, the appointment slots assigned by the mobile network providers fill up quickly.
All people who want to receive their booster injection at Bangsu Grand Station can register on the website of their mobile network provider (AIS, Dtac, NT and True.) Until April 8, nearly 15,000 appointment slots are available for each day. Nevertheless, it is required that the enrollee has received their second Covid vaccine injection at least 3 months prior. No walk-in services are planned.
Theerarat Samrejvanich, spokesman for the Pheu Thai party, urged the government to quickly procure doses of Covid vaccine for children under 12 years of age, and to extend the number of health facilities that could accommodate Covid patients who are unable to obtain a place for treatment.
From February, the government plans to vaccinate children aged 5 to 11, using the Pfizer vaccine.
