In the final, “Pink” Pitchamon Opasaniphat, the 456th hand in the world, faced “Carrot” Pornpicha Choeikeewong , the 565th hand in the world.
The “Pink” player successfully won the Victor Sweden Open 2022 badminton championship, while “Carrot” Pornpicha took second place.
In the women’s doubles category, “Jane” Chernicha Sudchaipraparat and “Nai” Chasinee Goripap placed 4th, and beat Jonathan Magnusson and Clara Nistad. The 2 players were ranked 50th in the world and won the Victor Swedish Open 2022 badminton championship by two sets of : 21-16, 23-21.
Khunying Pattama Leesawadtrakul, Director of the International Olympic Committee & Vice President of the Badminton World Federation & President of the Badminton Association of Thailand, congratulated “Pink” Pitchhamon at the end of the match who was able to win the overall championship for the first time at the age of 15.
As an athlete of the Badminton Association of Thailand’s Agricultural Project, Pink is participating in this project for the second year in a row.She is under the banner of the Kasemsak Badminton Academy and thanks to the association’s budget Pink travels abroad to participate in competitions.
