Krabi Food Fest is scheduled to celebrate savory cuisine in a relaxing atmosphere by Ao Nang from March 11 – 13, 2022, 4-11 PM.
Krabi province, the Tourism Authority of Thailand, Krabi Office, and Krabi Restaurant Association are inviting you to enjoy mouthwatering foods from 60 different restaurants where you can find local cuisine, healthy food, learn where your ingredients come from, try some healing food, and seasonal cuisine. At the event, you can meet Chef Gigg Kamol and Chef Keng Ratchawat from the famous TV show ‘Iron Chef Thailand’ and Chalit Fuengarom from Krua Khun Toom, who will create a new menu for Krabi, a one-of-a-kind dish using local ingredients from the province.
Apart from incredible foods, you can enjoy taking pictures, listening to live music, and appreciating the sound of the ocean’s waves amidst the most romantic sunset scene of Ao Nang. In order to add a much more rewarding experience to the event, sweepstakes of free accommodations and dining coupons are to be given out to those who attend the event.
Despite the more concerning COVID-19 situation in Thailand, it is highly required that you still wear a mask at all times, and remember social distancing while joining the event. You must also be fully vaccinated or show a negative ATK result no more than 72 hours before entering the event.
Last year, Krabi Food Fest was organized during March 12-14, 2022, at the same location, Ao Nang, in Krabi Province. The theme concentrated on the concept of environmental friendliness, which was to be aligned with the provincial policy drive of ‘Krabi Go Green’. All utensils used in the event had to be made of natural materials such as banana-leaf/nipa-palm-made containers, ear-of-rice-made coffee straws. Trash separation and food waste management were imposed, as well.
