H.R.H Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn visited Krabi to follow up on royal-initiated projects

At 2:50 p.m. today (12 May 2022), Somdej Phra Kanitthathirat Department of Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn temporarily landed on a Ban Bang Kram School’s helicopter field at Khlong Thom Nuea, Khlong Tom District, Krabi Province to perform royal duties in the area.  Ban Phaen Din Samer Border Patrol Police School Krabi Mr Puttipong Sirimat, Governor of Krabi Province, Chief Judge of Krabi Provincial, Court Commander of the 43rd Military District, Krabi Provincial Police Commander, heads of all government departments along with students and citizens were watching the princess’s visit at the temporary helicopter range of Ban Bang Khram School.

At 3:11 p.m., Her Highness continues the journey to the Border Patrol Police School where Ban Din Khlong Thom District Krabi is.  Mr Somchai Harnpakdee Patima, Deputy Governor of Krabi, Mr Somsak Kittitornkul, President of Krabi Provincial Administrative Organization and heads of all government agencies with teachers, students and people from Krabi province received by the princess. Her Highness observed the operations of the Learning Center and projects under the royal initiative by teaching up to grade 6 students of kindergarten, there are 70 students, including 6 students in the royal patronage.  Currently, there is no electricity on the campus, it was fixed by using renewable solar cells in the past, but there will be insufficient electricity during the rainy season, so students must be learned through natural light.

In educational achievement, grade 3 students have an average above the national level. As for grade 6, subjects in Thai Language, Science and English higher than the national level, but it was slightly lower than the national level for Mathematics. Teaching strategies of the school cover the content according to the indicators, gathering old exam papers to teach and let students practice, and explaining in detail the preparation required for the exams to promote conduct to students every year. For the small group teaching during the COVID-19 pandemic, Group 1 studied at Ban Khao Khao Monastery, and Group 2 studied at Ban Din Daeng Market Pavilion. By switching classes, it excluded classes from the small groups, the teacher would check the worksheets at home. Vocational training activities for students to actually practice both men’s haircut and fruit carving, all students had good grade point averages from the assessment results. And the Agricultural Product Processing Pilot Project teaches how to make “Fried Mushrooms” which is a product from the Agriculture of Lunch Project, bring to sales in the cooperative.
