Earlier, the Cabinet approved the fourth phase extension of the “We Travel Together” campaign to stimulate tourism in Thailand. The extension will cover another 1.5 million registrations. July 1 is the day for public hotel reservations, and the last day for your trip is October 31.

On June 9, 2022, Mr Yuthasak Supasorn, Governor of the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT), revealed that the schedule for the campaign has been confirmed and released as detailed below:

June 27:
Campaign registration open

July 1:
Hotel reservations open

July 8:
Accommodation and airfare registrations to the campaign will be accepted (air tickets must be booked and departed on or after July 3, 2022)

October 23:
Last day for hotel reservation

October 31:
The last day of the registered itinerary, the end of the campaign

November 5:
The last day to register for the return airfare

Phase 4 of the “We Travel Together” expansion project, originally scheduled to start in mid-June, was delayed in part due to Thailand’s personal data protection law from June 1, 2022, which has resulted in app developers having to Update its terms and systems to ensure compliance with the laws as mentioned above.

Tourism and Sports Minister Mr Phiphat Ratchakitprakarn revealed that Prime Minister General Prayut had instructed the Ministry of Finance to consider approving a budget for the We Travel Together Phase 5. But it still depends on the response of Phase 4 3Extension and the economic benefits resulting from it, and then it is up to the Ministry of Finance to make a clear decision.
