A 66-year-old Swiss national sustained injuries and had his car vandalized in an alleged attack by a youth gang late on December 15, 2014, in Pattaya, Thailand.
The incident occurred around 11:36 p.m. near a school on Pattaya South Road. The victim, identified as Mr. Manoutcher, was driving a bronze Toyota Vios when he returned to find a group of 4-6 teenagers smashing his car windows with rocks. When he attempted to intervene, two assailants allegedly assaulted him, leaving him with facial injuries, a swollen eye, and abrasions. The group continued to kick and stomp on him until a passerby intervened, prompting the perpetrators to flee.
Police responded to the scene and initiated efforts to locate the suspects. Officers dispatched a patrol to intercept the group and began reviewing CCTV footage and gathering witness testimonies in hopes of identifying and apprehending those involved.
Mr. Manoutcher filed a formal complaint with Pattaya City Police, expressing hope that the attackers would be brought to justice.
