Thousands of Asian Pied Starlings Flock to Sunflower Fields in Khao Yai

NAKHON RATCHASIMA — Thousands of Asian Pied Starlings emerged from Khao Yai National Park on December 16 to feast on sunflower seeds at Maneesorn Farm in Pak Chong district. The spectacle occurred across over 100 rai (40 acres) of blooming sunflower fields in Mu Si Subdistrict, providing a stunning natural display.

Maneesorn Farm, renowned for its vibrant sunflower fields, welcomes Thai and international visitors free of charge from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM daily. The farm has become a popular destination for nature photography enthusiasts, offering visitors a chance to capture the breathtaking scene of the starlings in flight.

In addition to the sunflower spectacle, local community booths are set up on-site, where visitors can shop for handmade souvenirs and regional products, adding a cultural touch to the nature-filled experience.
