Heroic Shop Owner Saves Falling Kitten in Thailand

A heartwarming CCTV footage from a car repair shop in Chainat, Thailand, captures a dramatic moment when the shop’s owner, Sutthirak Thongprajak, also known as New, saves a 3-month-old kitten that fell from a roof. The incident occurred when the kitten, named Thung Ngern (Silver Bag), slipped through a gap in the roof, plummeting from a height of approximately 4 meters.

Thung Ngern, a cat that frequently visits New’s shop, belongs to a nearby noodle shop. Despite the kitten’s regular visits, this particular time proved to be a risky one, as it wandered into an unsafe spot on the roof. With quick reflexes and a deep affection for the animal, New dove to catch the kitten just before it hit the ground, avoiding potential harm.

The young kitten, known for its playful visits, could have sustained serious injuries or worse due to its small size and delicate bones. New’s quick thinking and actions prevented what could have been a tragic outcome, showcasing not only his love for animals but also his dedication to their safety.

At the time of the rescue, bystanders witnessed the dramatic save. Sutthirak, a well-known cat lover in the local community, has continued to care for Thung Ngern since it first began visiting his shop.
