A Thai transwoman in Bangkok’s Lat Krabang district has been accused of assaulting a 13-year-old boy and using explicit images to blackmail him. The case was reported by the victim and his parents to the non-profit organisation Saimai Survive. The incident allegedly took place at the suspect’s residence, though the exact date remains undisclosed.
According to the victim, he first encountered the suspect on X (formerly Twitter), where she used a profile picture of an attractive woman and posted about seeking a partner. Believing he was interacting with a woman, the boy arranged a meeting at the suspect’s accommodation. Upon arrival, the transwoman reportedly claimed to be the sister of the person he expected to meet and asked him to wait.
During this time, the suspect allegedly persuaded the boy to take a shower. The victim later reported feeling uncomfortable when approached inappropriately and managed to leave. However, the suspect is accused of recording the boy and using the footage to coerce him. It is alleged that explicit content from their online conversations was also saved and later shared online, accompanied by damaging accusations against the victim.
Following the complaint, Saimai Survive referred the case to the Cyber Crime Investigation Bureau. Preliminary investigations revealed that the suspect is a university student in Lat Krabang. Authorities suspect that multiple individuals may have been targeted in a similar manner.
Another individual, a 21-year-old woman, has also come forward with allegations of blackmail. She claimed to have shared private content with the suspect, who later distributed the material publicly after she ceased communication.
