A motorcyclist in Nonthaburi has filed a complaint with Bang Srimuang police, alleging that the driver of a red Mazda sedan intentionally rammed his motorbike on Ratchapruek Road. The incident, which occurred on February 28, has drawn public attention after a video of the collision was posted online.
The complainant, 49-year-old Chintakarn, sought assistance from Ekkaphop Luangprasert, the founder of “Sai Mai Tong Rod,” a social media page known for supporting crime victims. Following the video’s circulation, online users began investigating past clips from the same Mazda driver, discovering similar incidents involving motorcyclists. This led to speculation that the driver may have deliberately caused the collisions due to a dislike of motorbikes.
According to Chintakarn, he was riding in the right lane when the Mazda approached from behind, honking its horn. A collision followed, leaving scratches on his motorbike and breaking the left wing mirror of the car. Despite the minor damage, he managed to stay in control of his vehicle, and both parties contacted their insurance providers.
Ekkaphop has expressed doubts about whether the incident was accidental, citing the Mazda driver’s apparent history of similar crashes. The case has been reported to the police, with further investigations expected.
